Milk Was a Bad Choice: Zooper Dooper Chooses Chaos and Releases Flavoured Milk

Would you try it?

We’ve had a lot of great snack news come across our desks of late, including this Twin Pole Blue Raspberry Spider and the new Rice Bubbles Crispy Chocolate Block from Darrell Lea. This latest product has us scratching our heads.

Zooper Dooper, the beloved Aussie favourite summer ice block, is now available as flavoured milk. Now, it’s not the first time they’ve done this. In 2021 they dropped a limited edition Zooper Dooper flavoured milk range, which divided fans.

They’re bringing it back this year with two new flavours—fairy floss and cola spider. Last time around, they released pineapple, bubblegum, and raspberry-flavoured milk.

In addition to the milk, Zooper Dooper fans voted Fairy Floss as their favourite flavour, and now, the brand has released a limited edition single-flavour pack of Fairy Floss water ice. Featuring 24 tubes of the sweet and candied flavour, which you may recognise from the Zooper Dooper cosmic range.

Fairy Floss Water Ice and flavoured milk will be available to shop from next week, and the Cola Spider is exclusively hitting Coles shelves at the end of October.

Mad Mex’s New Menu Item Is Inspired by a Popular Mexican Street Food

mad mex chicken al pastor

Mexican restaurant chain Mad Mex has dropped a new protein, and it’s one of the most popular street foods in Mexico.

Enter, Chicken Al Pastor. It’s traditionally made with pork and grilled on a spinning rotisserie with a pineapple sitting a top, but Mad Mex has put its own spin on it, serving chicken bathed in an Al Pastor marinade with a touch of juicy pineapple.

You can order the protein-packed filling in your favourite burrito, bowl, quesadilla, nachos, or in a taco.

As always, these things are here for a good time, not a long time. Pop into your local Mad Mex restaurant, order delivery or through the Mad Mex app today.
