Woolworth’s mud cakes are an institution. Whether you’ve bought them for a birthday, a class party, or to indulge in on your lonesome, they’re a treasured favourite at a very reasonable price of $5.

They’re available in chocolate, caramel, and white chocolate, and now, caramelised white chocolate.

For those who are thinking this flavour sounds familiar, you’re right. The caramelised white chocolate mud cake tastes exactly like the popular Cadbury Caramilk blocks.

People on social media are losing their minds over the news with TikToks flooding in of people rushing to Woolies to get their hands on the tasty treat.

According to news.com.au, the admin of the Facebook group Caramilk Addicts Club went out of their way to buy the cake for “research” purposes.

That’s true dedication to the craft.

For all other chocolate lovers, the new caramelised white chocolate mud cake can be bought from any Woolworths for $5.80.

Although, they will only be available for a limited time, so get in quick before they’re all gone.

Here’s to hoping, they make this a permanent flavour in their popular mud cake range.

mad mex chicken al pastor

Mexican restaurant chain Mad Mex has dropped a new protein, and it’s one of the most popular street foods in Mexico.

Enter, Chicken Al Pastor. It’s traditionally made with pork and grilled on a spinning rotisserie with a pineapple sitting a top, but Mad Mex has put its own spin on it, serving chicken bathed in an Al Pastor marinade with a touch of juicy pineapple.

You can order the protein-packed filling in your favourite burrito, bowl, quesadilla, nachos, or in a taco.

As always, these things are here for a good time, not a long time. Pop into your local Mad Mex restaurant, order delivery or through the Mad Mex app today.
