America’s favourite seltzer brand, White Claw introduced Australian’s to the bubbly, low ABV drinks, which has since taken off. Right now, you can get mango, lime, and grapefruit flavours in Australian stores, but we just heard, black cherry is on its way.

Black cherry—a U.S. fan favourite but to Aussies a foreign flavour, with local drinkers expressing their views loudly on what has previously been deemed a polarising flavour. Since its launch, White Claw received a huge number of requests for the flavour and in recent social polls, Black Cherry outperformed all other popular flavours.

For local fans, their FOMO wishes are about to be granted—the question is, will the rest of Australia join team black cherry? If you recall, Smirnoff released their own black cherry drink a few years ago, and the consensus was, Australian’s are fans of the black cherry flavour.

White Claw is giving a limited number of fans exclusive access to be among the first to try the black cherry flavour. Bespoke black cherry vending machines will house 100 cans only, allowing some the first chance to taste it and choose their team— sparking the flavour debate ahead of launch.

Vending machines will be popping up at the Harbord Hotel Sydney, X-Cargo Brisbane and The Garden Leederville Perth, so gather your tribe and head there from 1 pm until gone, on Saturday, 24 April.

From Wednesday, 28 April, you will be able to get your hands on a few cans nationwide at some of Australia’s favourite coastal bars, and all good liquor stores. Pick up a four-pack of 330ml cans for $23.99.

Although, it’s a limited-edition release, so it won’t be around for long. Be sure to get your hands on one before they leave our shores.

Mad Mex’s New Menu Item Is Inspired by a Popular Mexican Street Food

mad mex chicken al pastor

Mexican restaurant chain Mad Mex has dropped a new protein, and it’s one of the most popular street foods in Mexico.

Enter, Chicken Al Pastor. It’s traditionally made with pork and grilled on a spinning rotisserie with a pineapple sitting a top, but Mad Mex has put its own spin on it, serving chicken bathed in an Al Pastor marinade with a touch of juicy pineapple.

You can order the protein-packed filling in your favourite burrito, bowl, quesadilla, nachos, or in a taco.

As always, these things are here for a good time, not a long time. Pop into your local Mad Mex restaurant, order delivery or through the Mad Mex app today.
