Cowabunga dudes! Pizza Hut is reaffirming its love for the green, ninja turtles with the latest launch of a mutagen ranch, available on every pizza for only $1 extra or as a side for their WingStreet wings at no extra cost. The eye-popping vibrant green sauce oozes yummy goodness and pays homage to the mutagenic substance that transformed the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles into crime-fighting, pizza-loving machines. Warning, consuming the mutagen ranch will not turn you into a ninja turtle, just in case some of you had your hopes up.
You might recall, Pizza Hut has teamed up with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles before. From cross-promotional material in the movie to the launch of cheesy bites pizza, there’s no doubt about it—Pizza and TMNT go together like cheese on pepperoni. They’ve even had the TMNT team on a pizza box at one point, and for those who deduced the online secret menu, you might have noticed the ‘favourite pizzas’ of each turtle. If you didn’t, not to worry, we have them here.
Which character and pizza do you connect to most?
Donatello’s Pizzanality is a Cheese Lovers: You don’t have to be a tech genius like Donnie to know exactly what you’re getting with this simple but much-loved pizza (though, it sure does help). You simply can’t go wrong with this choice – it’s a no-brainer.
Raphael’s Pizzanality is a BBQ Meatlovers: This smokey BBQ meat medley packs a mean punch, so it’s undoubtedly a match for the fiery brother.
Michelangelo’s Pizzanality is a Hawaiian: This fun and fruity ham and pineapple pizza is the life of the party – just like Mikey. You can always count on Mikey to sewer surf the wave of this sweet, sweet, life. Cowabunga!
Leonardo’s Pizzanality is a Pepperoni Lovers: Nothin’ keeps the ninja senses sharper than the pepperoni pizza. Just like Leo, this trustworthy classic is the leader of the pizza pack.
Splinter’s Pizzanality is a Super Supreme: The super supreme unifies the many delicious toppings available. As a wise rat once said, “He who is one with all toppings shall reign supreme.”
Mexican restaurant chain Mad Mex has dropped a new protein, and it’s one of the most popular street foods in Mexico.
Enter, Chicken Al Pastor. It’s traditionally made with pork and grilled on a spinning rotisserie with a pineapple sitting a top, but Mad Mex has put its own spin on it, serving chicken bathed in an Al Pastor marinade with a touch of juicy pineapple.
You can order the protein-packed filling in your favourite burrito, bowl, quesadilla, nachos, or in a taco.
As always, these things are here for a good time, not a long time. Pop into your local Mad Mex restaurant, order delivery or through the Mad Mex app today.
