Hope you're hungry.

Mad Mex's 1kg 'Big Burrito'

Hungry? You’re going to need to be very hungry to sink your teeth into this behemoth. It’s Cinco de Mayo, and Mad Max has teamed up with Menulog to bring back their legendary 1kg ‘Big Burrito’.

The Big Burrito is available for a limited time and will only cost $10 if you order through Menulog. You could also walk away with a free luchador wrestling mask.

Inside the Big Burrito you’ll find rice, beans, pico de gallo, and slow-cooked or freshly grilled meats, or vegetables. There’s also a spicy vegan chicken option.

“Every year our fans are very vocal and ask us to bring The Big Burrito back. It’s become our most popular annual tradition, and the Luchador wrestling masks are a highlight this year. Our last mask was in 2017, so our Mad Mexican fans are going to be stoked! And with our Menulog partnership, we’re going to bring it to more people than ever,” said Mad Mex founder & CEO, Clovis Young.

To get the Big Burrito, you’ll need to find your nearest Mad Mex restaurant on the Menulog website, or the Menulog app.

Mad Mex’s New Menu Item Is Inspired by a Popular Mexican Street Food

mad mex chicken al pastor

Mexican restaurant chain Mad Mex has dropped a new protein, and it’s one of the most popular street foods in Mexico.

Enter, Chicken Al Pastor. It’s traditionally made with pork and grilled on a spinning rotisserie with a pineapple sitting a top, but Mad Mex has put its own spin on it, serving chicken bathed in an Al Pastor marinade with a touch of juicy pineapple.

You can order the protein-packed filling in your favourite burrito, bowl, quesadilla, nachos, or in a taco.

As always, these things are here for a good time, not a long time. Pop into your local Mad Mex restaurant, order delivery or through the Mad Mex app today.
