In 2021, London-based mochi ice-cream brand, Little Moons, went viral on TikTok, amassing over $33 million in ice cream sales in the UK in one year. Although the brand was created in 2010, its social media fame shot the humble mochi ice cream to success, which now produces 180 million mochis a year, and is sold in more than 20 countries, including Australia.

Launching with three of the brand’s most popular flavours, Little Moons landed down under, with Vegan Belgian Chocolate & Hazelnut, Honey Roasted Pistachio, and Vegan Tropical Passionfruit and Mango. Then they dropped a new Golden Blond Chocolate flavour that tastes like a rainbow paddlepop.

Now, they’ve added six more flavours to the freezer aisle, including Summer Raspberry, Iced Latte Coffee, Creamy Coconut, Himalayan Salted Caramel, Strawberries & Cream, and Madagascan Vanilla. It’s safe to say this summer has just got a lot better!

The brand’s beloved mochi ice cream balls feature Little Moons’ signature smooth and creamy gelato ice cream wrapped in a sweet, soft and chewy mochi dough. 

Little Moons ice cream mochi is available to purchase from Woolworths for $10.00 per pack of six mochis.
