KFC has just dropped “The Great Bucket Hunt”, a mobile-based adventure game with augmented reality that allows KFC lovers to win delicious food, sports and food experiences and some serious coin with $5,000 and $50,000 cash prizes up for grabs.
Whether you fancy a cheeky feed courtesy of the Colonel or you’re looking to raise the stakes by taking home $50,000 in cold hard cash, you know what they say; you’ve gotta be in it to win it.
Available to KFC fans Australia-wide, players can search for virtual buckets placed all over Australia for different prizes.
Playing couldn’t be easier; simply tap “The Great Bucket Hunt” on the KFC App to go forth in your bucket-hunting quest. To hunt down the goods, use the Bucket Map to find the virtual buckets, then spin them using AR to see what you’ve won and add them to your stash. It’s like virtual scratchies – but with chicken-flavoured prizes!

Mexican restaurant chain Mad Mex has dropped a new protein, and it’s one of the most popular street foods in Mexico.
Enter, Chicken Al Pastor. It’s traditionally made with pork and grilled on a spinning rotisserie with a pineapple sitting a top, but Mad Mex has put its own spin on it, serving chicken bathed in an Al Pastor marinade with a touch of juicy pineapple.
