KFC Drops a BBQ Onion Ring Burger You’ll Be Saying I Do To

Call the single people.

The beloved Colonel is setting hearts a flutter with a KFC-first burger, the BBQ Onion Ring Burger. This is the first time a burger with onion rings has been on the menu, and to celebrate, they’re even throwing in a wedding package.

And no, we are not kidding. To go into the running to win a wedding from the Colonel, Aussies can head to their local KFC from this Tuesday, pick up a BBQ Onion Ring Burger, get down on one knee with a slightly more edible ring, and submit a photo of the big moment! The best proposal will receive a full $80,000 wedding package complete with delicious KFC catering, theming and budget to support additional elements, including venue hire, photography and entertainment.

But if you don’t want to propose, you can still get the burger, packed with an Original Recipe Fillet, cheese, lettuce, our new sweet and tangy BBQ sauce, and, of course, two onion rings.

So, whether you’re looking to pop the question or just after the feed of a lifetime, the KFC BBQ Onion Ring Burger is your one-stop finger-lickin’ shop. At least until November, 27 2023.

Mad Mex’s New Menu Item Is Inspired by a Popular Mexican Street Food

mad mex chicken al pastor

Mexican restaurant chain Mad Mex has dropped a new protein, and it’s one of the most popular street foods in Mexico.

Enter, Chicken Al Pastor. It’s traditionally made with pork and grilled on a spinning rotisserie with a pineapple sitting a top, but Mad Mex has put its own spin on it, serving chicken bathed in an Al Pastor marinade with a touch of juicy pineapple.

You can order the protein-packed filling in your favourite burrito, bowl, quesadilla, nachos, or in a taco.

As always, these things are here for a good time, not a long time. Pop into your local Mad Mex restaurant, order delivery or through the Mad Mex app today.
