Hungry Jack’s Is Giving Away Free Fries to Fully Vaccinated Fry Fiends

When french fries are life.

This has got to be by far, the most mouth-watering vaccine incentive yet. Forget the free beers and cheap holidays, we want free chippies!

Hungry Jacks are teaming up with Deliveroo to offer a large, free fries to anyone who orders from them on the weekend after their state reaches 60% double vaxxed—which isn’t far off for some states.

Our current percentages for first dose and second dose by state are:

WA: 60% /42%
NT: 63% / 48%
SA: 63% / 44%
QLD: 60% / 42%
NSW: 82% / 53%
ACT: 80% / 56%
VIC: 72% / 44%
TAS: 71% / 52%

“A successful vaccination rollout is crucial to getting us back to doing all the things we love,” said Joe Satari, Head of Consumer Communications at Deliveroo.

“With the legends at Hungry Jack’s and heaps of local favourites, we will show our gratitude with a tasty reward for all the Aussies out there, keeping each other, and those in our community, safe.

“We can’t wait to see which state is next to stride over that 60 per cent line.”

The free fries are only available to Deliveroo customers who order from Hungry Jack’s on the Friday, Saturday or Sunday following the 60% number being reached.

They’ll be up for grabs in every state except the Northern Territory, as Deliveroo doesn’t deliver there.

For the rest of Australia, this is one good reason to keep up with the news.

Mad Mex’s New Menu Item Is Inspired by a Popular Mexican Street Food

mad mex chicken al pastor

Mexican restaurant chain Mad Mex has dropped a new protein, and it’s one of the most popular street foods in Mexico.

Enter, Chicken Al Pastor. It’s traditionally made with pork and grilled on a spinning rotisserie with a pineapple sitting a top, but Mad Mex has put its own spin on it, serving chicken bathed in an Al Pastor marinade with a touch of juicy pineapple.

You can order the protein-packed filling in your favourite burrito, bowl, quesadilla, nachos, or in a taco.

As always, these things are here for a good time, not a long time. Pop into your local Mad Mex restaurant, order delivery or through the Mad Mex app today.
