Here’s How to Win Free Guac for a Year

Free scoops of guac at GYG, sign me up!

Avocados are cheap right now, but that doesn’t mean we won’t jump at the chance to win free guac for a year.

To celebrate National Avocado Day on Sunday, July 31, Guzman y Gomez is giving one lucky Aussie the chance to win free guac for a year. You won’t have to shell out the extra $2 for a scoop of guac with your nachos or any Guzman y Gomez dish.

To be in the draw, simply place an order via the GYG app or scan your GOMEX barcode when you place an order at your local GYG on Sunday, July 31. T&Cs here.

The little green fruit we love, spread over crunchy sourdough and even better mixed into guacamole to be enjoyed with some corn chips, is truly an Aussie icon worth celebrating this weekend.

Good luck!

A few weeks ago, ALDI opened the cheapest wine bar in Sydney, and today, they’re bringing us more frugal feeds with a pop-up dumpling truck.

The truck will be open from 5-7 pm (or while stocks last) today in the ALDI Bankstown Central car park, with hungry Sydneysiders able to swing by to pick up a box of six Urban Eats dumplings, including fan-favourites Prawn Gyoza and a delicious new seasonal addition to the range, Chicken Dumplings—all for less than a $2 coin.

ALDI’s quality range means Aussies can treat themselves to a Friday restaurant-quality meal that won’t break the bank.

Can’t make it to the Dumpling Truck? ALDI has everyone else covered with the full range of dumplings available in the freezer section across the country.
