In true European fashion, Aperol is celebrating the ease of restrictions nationwide with an Aperol Spritz, or 100,000.
Yes, you read that right. As NSW eases restrictions in bars, pubs and restaurants across the state, with Victoria to closely follow, Aperol is shouting Australia 100,000 Aperol Spritzes to celebrate.
Celebrating and reconnecting with those we love over a refreshing drink is at the heart of aperitivo culture, and there’s no better time to get a taste for it after many states have felt the pinch of Covid restrictions and as we head towards summer of freedom (fingers crossed!).
From 18 October across Australia, Aussies can order a pair of Aperol Spritz to share with a friend at their favourite bar, venue or restaurant, and Aperol will cover the cost of one of them up to the value of $20.
For picnic-goers, those that prefer to enjoy a refreshing Spritz at home or haven’t quite reached complete freedom, they can purchase two Aperol Spritz Ready to Serve packs from a bottle shop and redeem one of the packs up to the value of $24.
“Life is better when we can celebrate with our loved ones, in person,” says Paolo Marinoni, Marketing Director for Aperol.
“Whether it is enjoying a drink at your favourite bar or restaurant or enjoying a picnic outdoors with friends with an Aperol Ready to Serve pack from a bottle shop, we wanted to play a part in celebrating togetherness with an Aperol Spritz on us. A joy shared is a joy doubled. Salute!”

Mexican restaurant chain Mad Mex has dropped a new protein, and it’s one of the most popular street foods in Mexico.
Enter, Chicken Al Pastor. It’s traditionally made with pork and grilled on a spinning rotisserie with a pineapple sitting a top, but Mad Mex has put its own spin on it, serving chicken bathed in an Al Pastor marinade with a touch of juicy pineapple.
You can order the protein-packed filling in your favourite burrito, bowl, quesadilla, nachos, or in a taco.
As always, these things are here for a good time, not a long time. Pop into your local Mad Mex restaurant, order delivery or through the Mad Mex app today.
