Connoisseur Takes Its Laneway Sweets Series to Tubs

They're hard to pass up.

Winter is on the way, not typically the time of year to tuck into ice cream, but with Connoisseur’s new Laneway Sweets series now arriving on shelves in tubs, I beg to differ.

Inspired by the hidden treasures found in the alleyways of our cities, the Laneway Sweets range is all about indulgence, and the new tubs are no exception. With two decadent flavours to choose from, Crunchy Peanut Butter and Baked Choc Chip Cookie, these treats are the perfect way to warm up your soul on a chilly winter evening.

Connoisseur fans have been raving about the Laneway Sweets range since it launched last year, with stick flavours like Salted Pretzel, Triple Choc Cookie, and Rocky Road. And now, with the release of the 1L tubs, you can indulge in even more of that delicious, artisanal goodness.

The Laneway Sweets tubs will set you back RRP $12 in Grocery and RRP $14.50 in Convenience. But for those who are serious about their ice cream, it’s a small price to pay for such a premium experience.

So if you’re looking for a way to warm up this winter, be sure to pick up a tub (or two) of Connoisseur Laneway Sweets. Trust us—your taste buds will thank you, even in the coldest weather.

Mad Mex’s New Menu Item Is Inspired by a Popular Mexican Street Food

mad mex chicken al pastor

Mexican restaurant chain Mad Mex has dropped a new protein, and it’s one of the most popular street foods in Mexico.

Enter, Chicken Al Pastor. It’s traditionally made with pork and grilled on a spinning rotisserie with a pineapple sitting a top, but Mad Mex has put its own spin on it, serving chicken bathed in an Al Pastor marinade with a touch of juicy pineapple.

You can order the protein-packed filling in your favourite burrito, bowl, quesadilla, nachos, or in a taco.

As always, these things are here for a good time, not a long time. Pop into your local Mad Mex restaurant, order delivery or through the Mad Mex app today.
