Chargrill Charlie’s is joining forces with Australia’s finest pastry chef Anna Polyviou, for the second year running. This comes off the back of the successful lockdown cookie dough they launched in partnership with Anna last year.

The dynamic duo created the limited-edition cookie dough for the community in hopes to put a smile on everyone’s face during the latest stay at home order.

Polyviou affectionately described as the Punk Princess of Pastry has dazzled Australians with appearances on MasterChef Australia and Family Food Fight, and her two books, Sweet Street and Kids Corner.

She created a brand new mouth-watering flavour, Biscoff bites, made with the famous Lotus Biscoff biscuit and Lotus Biscoff Spread. But don’t worry, the much loved and original triple choc chip will also be up for grabs too.

Priced at $15, the cookie dough will be available to purchase as a tub at all 18 Chargrill Charlie’s stores across Sydney and Melbourne from Friday 2nd July, via the Chargrill Charlie’s app, in-store or through select delivery partners.

It is available for a limited time only, so order one for yourself, or a friend in lockdown.

Mad Mex’s New Menu Item Is Inspired by a Popular Mexican Street Food

mad mex chicken al pastor

Mexican restaurant chain Mad Mex has dropped a new protein, and it’s one of the most popular street foods in Mexico.

Enter, Chicken Al Pastor. It’s traditionally made with pork and grilled on a spinning rotisserie with a pineapple sitting a top, but Mad Mex has put its own spin on it, serving chicken bathed in an Al Pastor marinade with a touch of juicy pineapple.

You can order the protein-packed filling in your favourite burrito, bowl, quesadilla, nachos, or in a taco.

As always, these things are here for a good time, not a long time. Pop into your local Mad Mex restaurant, order delivery or through the Mad Mex app today.
