Bubble Milk Tea Filled Doughnuts Are As Good As They Sound

Introducing the DOBA.

If you’re a boba fanatic, you will love this sweet treat. Local Sydney legends Donut Papi and bubble tea brand Gotcha Fresh Tea have teamed up together to create Australia’s first DOBA—also known as boba donut.

Inspired by Gotcha’s iconic Thai Milk Tea drink, the DOBA features a fluffy yeast-raised donut base with a Thai Milk Tea infused glaze and is filled with Gotcha’s sweet, warm boba.

Yes, it’s as good as it sounds, but it’s not quite as easy to get your hands on one.

Launching on Monday, October 24, this exclusive limited edition collab will only run for two weeks. There’s another catch. You can only get them from Gotcha Melbourne Central and Gotcha World Square, Sydney.

Although, Gotcha is also offering customers the opportunity to top its best-selling Thai Milk Tea drink with a DOBA, for the price of $14.50.

Mad Mex’s New Menu Item Is Inspired by a Popular Mexican Street Food

mad mex chicken al pastor

Mexican restaurant chain Mad Mex has dropped a new protein, and it’s one of the most popular street foods in Mexico.

Enter, Chicken Al Pastor. It’s traditionally made with pork and grilled on a spinning rotisserie with a pineapple sitting a top, but Mad Mex has put its own spin on it, serving chicken bathed in an Al Pastor marinade with a touch of juicy pineapple.

You can order the protein-packed filling in your favourite burrito, bowl, quesadilla, nachos, or in a taco.

As always, these things are here for a good time, not a long time. Pop into your local Mad Mex restaurant, order delivery or through the Mad Mex app today.
