Ooni Drops New Pizza Ovens That Are The Most Stylish and Advanced Ever

Ooni, the creator and leader of the home pizza oven market has dropped two new additions to its award-winning line of ovens, and it’s their most stylish and advanced pizza oven yet.

The first oven off the rank is Ooni Volt 12, the brand’s first electric pizza oven. Similar to the gas ones, this oven reaches 450 degrees in just 20 minutes, so expect to bake the perfect Neapolitan-style pizza in 90 seconds, as you would a gas oven. With two heating elements, one at the top for downward heat and one under the stone for perfectly crispy bases, the Volt gives you complete freedom to cook pizzas just the way you like with built-in temperature, time, balance control, and a new Boost Function.

Designed to fit on any standard kitchen benchtop, Volt is lightweight, portable, and easy to store. A weather-resistant shell means your Volt can withstand the elements when cooking outdoors, while a triple-paned glass door gives you a clear view of the pizza cooking without losing heat. Preventing power wastage, the Ooni Volt 12 also automatically shuts off after 45 minutes of inactivity.

The second pizza oven to drop is being hailed as the world’s most advanced portable pizza oven. It features a multi-fuel versatility, an integrated thermometer, ClearView technology and a triple-paned borosilicate glass door—a first for Ooni’s 12-inch oven range. Proving that good things come in small packages, Ooni Karu 12G brings the best of the brand’s highly acclaimed Karu 16 pizza oven in a compact model you can take almost anywhere.

For those itching to cook their first pizza, the Karu 12G is ready to cook straight from the box with wood, charcoal, or a combination of both. For those wanting to use their gas bottle, simply attach the optional gas burner for convenient baking. The oven also uses 36% less gas than previous models, meaning you have more fuel for longer.

The Ooni Volt 12 ($1,499) and Karu 12G ($699) will be available for Australians to purchase from ooni.com.au in time for spring 2023.
