The Melbourne Cocktail Festival is back for 2021 and if you’re in the first 1000 to register, the city will shout you a drink!

The Melbourne Cocktail Festival was created to celebrate and show appreciation for the Melbourne bar community and champion an industry that is so integral to our city. 

Running this year from 12 – 18 April, some of Melbourne’s most notable bars and bartenders will come together to quench the thirst of us cocktail nerds. There’s a curated program of events, the overarching being the festivals signature Bar Safari, where drinkers can go on an extensive bar hop and sample bespoke MCF cocktails created in bars across Melbourne.

Each participating venue will offer a cocktail that is exclusive to the Melbourne Cocktail Festival. To be a part of the Bar Safari, you need to register online. It’s free registration, and the first 1000 people to register will get a free cocktail! Ticket-holders will then be able to purchase any bespoke cocktail for $15, as well as receive a month-long 10% discount on all purchases from the Good Spirits online store, as well as a digital recipe book. 

This is the perfect opportunity to get back out in the streets of Melbourne, maybe trying a venue you’ve never been to, or broadening your cocktail knowledge and palette. 

Participating venues include: Above Board, Arbory Afloat, Anther Distillery, Bad Frankie, Bar Margaux, Beneath Driver Lane, Bijou Bottle Store, Black Pearl, Boilermaker, Bomba, Byrdi, Capitano, Eau De Vie, Gimlet, Gin Palace, Heartbreaker, Little Lon Distillery, Molly Rose, Nick & Nora, St. Felix, Tetto Di Carolina and The Everleigh.
